This is non-nail related, but it's a giveaway!! I mentioned on my Facebook page that I had found a scarf tutorial on YouTube, that obsession took over and that I was suddenly overflowing with scarves. I made a mention of maybe hosting a giveaway (or 2) but never expected such excitement! So here's the giveaway!!

This is a very simple infinity rope scarf that I wrapped and tied for easy on and easy off. It's as simple as slipping it over your head and 'fluffing' the front to get it to lay just the way you want. I had no trouble getting it on and off this way; however, if you're worried about this, it is an infinity scarf and carefully cutting the tie holding it together will let the scarf unwind so you can wrap it on yourself.

December is supposed to be the season of giving right? Well, this year I'm embracing that wholeheartedly! I am part of 2 huge giveaways (here and here), and I took it one step further and am now hosting my own with some of my wonderful bloggers. You may or may not recognize their names but I'm sure you'll recognize their nails. They do almost all the lovely swatches you see when checking out my polishes. If it's not my swatch, it is more than likely one of theirs. How could I give away some polish as a thank you for all the support and love you've all given me and not include them?

First up, the thing I'm sure you're all eager to know - the prizes! The winner will have their choice of 6 mini bottles from my Christmas collection - 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

As I cannot ship internationally at this time this giveaway is only open to those in the US or Canada ... or those who have a friend in either country willing to risk shipping for them. Once the package is out of my hands however, I take no responsibility for it - especially during the holidays when customs is sure to be cracking down on shipping polishes. Hey everyone! Today I have an exciting new colour by Essie to show you called 'Then and Now'*. I hope I didn't confuse you too much with the title, I know some of you were probably expecting one of my comparison posts between my old work and new work, but alas, today is just some new work, which hopefully you shall enjoy just as much! Essie have teamed up with Then and Now to create this gorgeous grey/brown shade. You can buy it here on their website but I will also be giving away a bottle to one lucky reader, you can enter using the Rafflecopter widget below.

For these nails I started off with 2 extremely easy coats of Essie - Then and Now* and I used Nicole by OPI - Spring Break* and Nicole by OPI - Selena* for the roses, along with Rimmel - Misty Jade* for the leaves, all topped off with a coat of Seche Vite.

Hey everyone! Today I have a post using some nail polishes from 'Nail Girls', which is a fantastic brand that I hadn't previously heard of but I'm so glad they contacted me because I really truly loved these polishes. I was provided with 2 polishes to create some nail art with for their blogger of the month post. Alongside this they've also given YOU the opportunity to win 2 polishes of your choice from their website, as well as a topcoat. This is incredibly generous of them and I'm so happy they're willing to do this for you all. The giveaway and giveaway rules will be at the end of the post for those of you who don't want to see my AMAZING nail art ;)

I didn't want to distract too much from the two colours I was given, so I thought using black would be a good way of avoiding that. It's quite difficult to create anything worthwhile out of just 2 colours so black was a great addition to this design. For the squares I used this tutorial by PackaPunchPolish.

The colours I chose were Pink No.15*, which is the most unique pink I've ever seen, but the camera really doesn't do it justice, and Blue No. 3*, probably the lightest blue in my collection and I could have easily got away with 2 coats but I chose to do 3 just in case. They're both very creamy and opaque, which is always a plus. Pink No. 15 needed 2 coats.

The Prize
Recently, some staticky glitter had three polishes from a recent batch of Grin & Bear It turn out too blue. Instead of throwing these polishes out I've decided to host a giveaway for them. Grin & Bear It is from my recent Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland inspired collection, Down the Rabbit Hole, and was inspired by the Cheshire Cat. As stated, these polishes are not an exact match to those being sold in my Etsy Shop. The difference isn't all that noticeable unless you put them both side by side, but it would have felt dishonest selling them as Grin & Bear It.

You can see in the picture above (sorry, my original tester bottle has been sitting unshaken for a while) that the prize polishes have a lot more of the dark blue hex glitter than the original Grin & Bear It. That doesn't mean this polish isn't completely usable or that it won't make a wonderful addition to your collection. :)

Welcome to my very 1st Blogiversary Giveaway. I'm so excited!! So I'm a bit late posting this giveaway. You'll understand how much of a dummy I am if you read my recent ABC Challenge post.
